Water, Fire & Mold Damage Restoration in Bellflower
Bellflower is a small city located in the southern part of LA County, situated between Downey to the north and Lakewood to the south. Despite its small size, Bellflower boasts a population of around 78,000 residents, making it the 8th most densely populated California city. It was initially named Somerset in 1909 but was later incorporated in September of 1957 under the name Bellflower, named for the bellflower apples that grew throughout local orchards at the time. Much of the city’s development was centered around apple production, as Bellflower and neighboring Paramount were the center of the apple industry in Southern California in the early 20th century. However, the second half of the 20th century has seen Bellflower transform from a largely agricultural community to the burgeoning residential suburb it is today.
